About Options
Options strategies offer such versatility that almost any kind of objective can be achieved using the right option strategy. Options can play a variety of roles in different portfolios, assisting you to reach your investment goals. For example, you could generate additional income from the stocks you
own, or protect the value of your portfolio during a market downturn. The combinations and possibilities are literally endless. With that said, option trading has substantial risk, and requires account approval. Please read the Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options prior to buying or selling options.

Apply for Options Trading Privileges
Since option trading
involves substantial risk, to protect less experienced investors from trading beyond their ability, each account needs to be approved before trading options. The approval process depends on several criteria, including net worth, income, investment experience, etc. There are several different approval levels, each permitting the account holder to use different options strategies. If you are applying for a new account, you can apply for options trading privileges during the online application. If you already have an account with us, please complete the Options Application & Agreement.
