Apply for Options Trading Privileges
Since options involve substantial risk, to protect less experienced investors from trading beyond their ability, each account needs to be approved before trading options. The approval process depends on several criteria, including net worth, income, investment experience, etc. There are several different approval levels, each permitting the account holder to use different options strategies. If you are applying for a new account, you can apply for options trading privileges during the online application.
